We have taken a simple first and second stage regulator set up and added a number of options to allow divers to customize their regulator set up to exactly their specifications.
The HOG D3 First Stage
As mentioned above, the HOG D3 First Stage carries on the the tradition of excellence and dependability found in the D1 First Stage and has improved it. HOG D3 First Stage offers better performance than the D1 in a smaller size and utilizes several of the suggestions users made on how to make the D1 even better. With the hose routing of a Piston regulator, but the durability and coldwater benefits of a diaphragm reg, the D3 is a true industry innovation! Some key features of the D3 include:
- The D3 LP Turret swivel will rotate a full 360 degree with the hoses attached in any LP port, without hanging up on the DIN hand wheel.
- The D3 will utilize a replaceable hard HP seat, this will allow for better first stage performance, easier serviceability, and a longer regulator lifespan.
- The D3 is available in DIN Environmentally Sealed and Unsealed variants.
The HOG Zenith Second Stage
The Hog Zenith Second Stage is an evolution of the ubiquitous pneumatically balanced 2nd stage. The front cover has been redesigned to improve the performance, function, durability, and styling. Zenith utilizes a soft touch silicone centre portion to provide the ease of clearing found in our HOG Soft Front Cover Accessory but with far superior durability. The Zenith also has new styling that helps to control free flow in current while also providing a cutting edge look to the regulator, so you can dive in style while maintaining ease of breathing. HOG then takes these features a step further by adding an optional reversible feature as well as color options.
